Aloha,
Okay, now that I've read #700, my thoughts.

I'm a big fan of Fringe. There
was an episode where William Bell took over the body and consciousness
of Olivia, but Olivia's consciousness was still inside her, but asleep
if you will. This is what this looks like to me with Doc Ock/Peter.Ock
is going to do everything he can to prove himself SUPERIOR to Peter. This
should make for some interesting reading, but NO WAY, all of the Super
Heroes are going to not suspect that this is not the same guy they've
known for years.First off, Ock has no sense of humor. That's going to be
a big giveaway that something is not right.Going back to Fringe.
Peter(in Fringe) was erased from the timeline, but he kept coming through.During the Clone Saga, we were also lead to believe that the
Peter we thought we knew wasn't him at all.

Wackers pulling our leg on the end of Peter Parker
simply because ALL Spider-Man cartoons and movies will still have
Peter Parker so the idea that somehow Peter is gone for good, just
doesn't hold water.

Doc Ock is a criminal in hiding who tried to destroy the world, no way he gets away with that forever. No way, he inhabits Peters' body forever. In the immortal words of the late great Joe Louis, "he can run but he cannot hide".

If Slott is writing, I'm still in for the ride.
